Ute Tegtmeyer, AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Ute is a versatile architect with more than twenty years of experience. She has designed large- and small-scale projects ranging from a basement office to multi-use high-rise buildings. After receiving her Bachelor of Architecture from the Technical College in Hannover, Germany, she traveled to Ball State on a Fulbright Scholarship for her Master of Architecture.
Ute is originally from Bremen, in northern Germany (and since Sweden declared war on Bremen in 1654, she is exempt from working on any of our projects in Sweden!). She settled down in Chicago in 2003 and would prefer to live in a city where socks are considered obsolete. She runs, bikes and tries to swim whenever she can. < back to team
